Winners Announced for the 2015 APL Programming Contest


Pending proof of student status, the judges have identified the following as winning entries:

 

Grand prize winner: Arianna Locatelli (secondary school, Italy)
receives cash prize of $2,500 USD and an invitation to present her winning work at Dyalog '15 in Sicily

 

Second prize winner: Joshua David (University of Scranton, U.S.A.)
receives cash prize of $1,250 USD

 

Third prize winner: Dragana Babić (University of Novi Sad, Serbia)
receives cash prize of $750 USD

 

Honourable mention: Alexander Kuhnle (Cambridge University, U.K.)
receives cash prize of $250 USD

 

Honourable mention: Luyang Du (State University of New York at Binghamton, U.S.A.)
receives cash prize of $250 USD

 

Winning Professional Entrant: Roberto Szabó (electronic engineer of several decades experience returning to APL as part of his doctorate in diffusion of knowledge and cognition)
receives an invitation to present his winning work at Dyalog '15 in Sicily

 

Phase I and Phase II participation prizes were also awarded.
