Dyalog Agreement with Syncfusion
Dyalog Ltd. and Syncfusion Inc. are delighted to announce that they have entered an agreement that will see Syncfusion’s WPF and JavaScript libraries being bundled with the Dyalog APL Version 14.
The announcement was made during the first day of the annual Dyalog User Conference - Dyalog ’13 - which is taking place in Deerfield Beach, Florida, this week. Significantly, the agreement between the two companies will not require any changes for existing Dyalog licence holders.
CTO Morten Kromberg of Dyalog says, “Dyalog APL Version 14 is currently on track for general availability in Q2 2014. We appreciate that our users may want to start looking at the functionality in the Syncfusion libraries at once, so we will facilitate availability of the WPF library immediately after the conference, and the JavaScript Library a bit later this year. Additionally, we’re working with Michael Hughes from MJH Software Services Ltd to make it easier for APL users to migrate existing applications to WPF. We’re currently in the process of facilitating a way to closely emulate the ⎕WC grid and treeview objects, which are currently widely used by APL developers.”
The first day of the Dyalog’13 conference saw several presentations which showed the power of using Syncfusion’s WPF with Dyalog application development, among others from Product Manager Chad Church from Syncfusion and Michael Hughes from MJH Software Services.
Dyalog users who would like to get access to the Syncfusion WPF library immediately, are encouraged to contact Dyalog after November 1 2014 on sales@dyalog.com
