The 9th annual APL Problem Solving Competition has been launched

Dyalog Ltd is once again proud to host the International APL Problem Solving Competition. Now in its 9th year, the competition has helped introduce APL to hundreds of students from around the globe. We very much appreciate the continued and generous support of our co-sponsors – APL Italiana, Fiserv and SimCorp

The competition has two phases:

• Phase I consists of ten simple problems suitable for one-liner solutions.
• Phase II consists of more complex problems in several categories.

Students can receive small cash prizes for Phase I submissions and more substantial cash prizes for Phase II. A Grand Prize will be awarded to the top combined Phase I/Phase II submissions, in addition to which the winner will receive an expenses-paid trip to Dyalog '17. Proof of enrolment as a full-time student at the time of the competition is required.

While students are the primary audience for the competition, we also encourage non-students to participate. The top non-student entry will be offered a free delegate's package for Dyalog '17.
